This course is a mix of lectures and exercises on the use of the FORTRAN programming language. The students will learn how to write, compile execute and validate programs in a linux environment. They will master the main building blocks of the program they will write and use in the next numerical analysis and computational fluid dynamics courses.. This course ends with an introduction to LaTeX for the production of scientific documents.
