This lecture is an introduction to machine learning and its application to turbulence problems. It aims at presenting the main learning methods (which include but are not limited to neural networks), discuss interpretation, illustrate them using some modern applications. The module ends with a practical where simple machine learning methods are trained against provided data sets.
