Aerodynamics

The course presents an overview of the different aspect of the aerodynamics around airfoils and 3D wing. The subject integrates aerodynamics and fluid dynamics concepts applied to concrete situations. The aim of the course is to provide to the student the necessary tools to investigate the external aerodynamics of a 3D object for incompressible and compressible applications. The course also provides the link between turbulent boundary layer theory and wing applications.
